I am 19, and will being going to college for a Bachelors in Film Production and Content Development. I have been making films for the past 4 years, but have been doing artwork for the past 8 years. I have always wanted to do something involving creative work, whether that be a lighting artist, texture artist, or animator, but had never thought about becoming a Cinematographer until my first year of highschool when I took a Digital Media Arts Class. That class changed the direction of my entire life, and I am so happy that I took it. That class laid the foundation of my want to become someone who makes films, specifically to be the Director of Photography, and Color Grading. I want to deeply thank Mr. Hemeyer, for being the best teacher that I could have asked for, helping me throughout my journey in highschool, and my journey through film!
My creative passion is to create stunning yet flawed work, work that is beautiful to look at but doesn't have the clinical nature of a lot of modern movies. The Filmic look is one that I strive for, and big inspirations for this are the Dune Movies, Batman 2022, and Oppenheimer. These movies helped guide my style to where it is now, but that doesn't mean it will stay this way, as a style should always be growing.
I am currently attending Liberty University, pursuing a BFA in Film Production & Creative Development with a Cognate in Visual Arts
